Old Forest Floor Wood Millipede Isopod Hardwood Pith beetles microfauna

A must-have food for Isopods and millipedes.

In their natural habitat, most millipedes and isopods are scavengers. They eat damp or decaying wood particles.

We process old forest floor wood that has been decomposing on the forest floor for decades.   At this stage, the wood contains mostly cellulose fibers.  It is light in weight and contains little moisture and easily digested by isopods and millipedes.

A one-quart bag of Old Forest Floor Wood will last a very long time.

This wood can also be used in vivarium landscaping.
