Metallyticus splendidus …is an extraordinary species of Metallyticid mantis which is spread throughout Southeast Asia. M. splendidus
This is a favorite of mine and have a small group M. splendidus of these and M. violaceus pairs and nymphs. They are relatively simple to care for though habitat and diet need be specific for successful rearing and breeding. I will being uploading log files as things develop, images as well.

Temperature: Day 25 - 30 °C, night room temperature
Relative humidity: Day 60 - 70 %, night 70 - 90 %

Aggressiveness against each other: Very low
Level of difficulty: Not a very difficult, though feeding is specific!
Molts until fully grown: Female ~8 (adult in L9), male ~7 (adult in L8)
Firebrats in all stages. Freshly hatched nymphs of M. violaceus need freshly hatched fire-brats. You can additionally feed Small fruit flies (D. melanogaster) to small nymphs.
