Las hembras crecen hasta alcanzar unos 13 centímetros (unas 5 pulgadas) de largo y los machos unos 10 centímetros (unas 4 pulgadas).[4] Son originarios de Etiopía, Kenia, Malawi, Somalia, Tanzania y Uganda. Su pantalla de amenazas tiene colores magníficos, con rojo, blanco, azul, morado y negro.

Both of my blue mantids came healthy and happy, I believe I have now ordered at least 8 mantises through usmantis and only had one problem, an orchid mantis (young) died 2 days after receiving and it was replaced the next day without me even asking for it. I have had nothing but great communication and customer service and that is why I stick with usmantis for all of my mantis needs. Thank you again!

Probably the coolest looking mantis we've had so far. One of its little grabbers is messed up but I'm sure it will be fine after it molts, has no problem snatching up flies. Has tons of personality.
